Scrambled Tofu
Ingredients
- 1lb tofu firm
- ½ tsp salt or less
- ¼ garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp Nutrition yeast
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tsp chicken seasoning
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ cup chopped onions
- ¼ tsp celery salt
Directions
Crumble or mash tofu and set aside to drain. In a large skillet, sauté onions in water, adding water a little at a time until the onion is soft. Add spices to mashed tofu and then add tofu to onions in the skillet. Turn tofu mixture, as needed, over medium heat until liquid evaporates. Other seasonings you may add to your liking: cumin, paprika, hickory seasoning, curry powder etc.
